Don Dickson Sr. founded Tri State Distributors in Spokane, Washington, in 1967. His goal was the establishment of a diversified distribution company with separate sales divisions.

This diversification gradually came to fruition from a start with Chrysler Air Temp Air Conditioning that has evolved into a company offering: Major Appliances, Stoves & Fireplaces and Outdoor Living Products.

Following the gradual retirement of Don Dickson Sr., his sons, Don Jr. and Gary (who now serve as Co-Presidents) purchased the company. Together, they have built upon the foundation laid by their father and they now oversee a territory that includes Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and Utah.

From Don Dickson Sr.'s one-man, 2,000 square foot operation in 1967, Tri State Distributors has grown to become a diversified, regionally focused company with dedicated employees at three locations occupying 105,000 square feet.

The business environment has changed dramatically since 1967, but Tri State's commitment to quality service and to strong customer, supplier and employee relationships has never waivered.

Full service distribution facilites are located in Spokane and Kent, Washington, and Portland, Oregon.
